Looking for an exciting and rewarding career in commercial construction? We are seeking experienced Concrete Form Carpenters for construction projects in our Knoxville, TN, Mid-Atlantic region. Candidates should have a wide variety of rough and finish carpentry skills and someone who loves thinking outside the box. Essential Functions

• Set batter boards and anchor bolts
• Form concrete footings, piers, walls and columns
• Pump, place and vibrate concrete
• Placement of concrete, slab on grade and elevated decks finishing skills a plus
• Crane signals and rigging
• Install resteel
• Read blue prints and do simple layout
• Knowledge on wall form systems a plus
• Keep immediate working area clean.
• Properly plan and execute specific work as directed.
• Identify safety hazards for you or other employees may be subject to and take all necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize hazards.

Expected Hours of Work

Full time, more than 40-hours a week. May work nights and weekends, construction may sometime continue around the clock to meet deadlines.

Travel

Must have reliable transportation. Must be willing to travel 60 miles a day dependent on project location relative to where the employee lives.

Required Education and Experience

1. Have a general knowledge of basic carpentry and hand tools
2. Minimum two (2) years in construction carpentry experience.
