Information Technology – Remote (U.S. Based)

The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is seeking a Salesforce Developer for the Enterprise Marketing Management team. This position is responsible for developing solutions in support of CBN’s global Salesforce CRM initiatives supporting donor management, fundraising and humanitarian activities around the world. This individual will use industry best practices to develop solutions in the Salesforce ecosystem to support our international locations and will participate in planning and development in all areas of Salesforce including solution design, declarative and code-based development, configuration, third party app selection and configuration, security modelling, and general system support in a multi-org enterprise. This individual will be responsible for designing and developing data integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise applications. This individual will be a catalyst for change and provide development recommendations and guidance to corporate headquarters and international field offices to ensure that provided solutions are implemented, supported, and maintained throughout the SDLC lifecycle.

The successful candidate will be experienced with building and maintaining Salesforce-based solutions that include Salesforce systems components, security models, data flow, automations, third-party apps, process improvements and organizational change. The candidate will be experienced integrating non-Salesforce systems using a variety of development tools and platforms.

The individual in this position will be working with a Business Systems Analyst and a Project Manager to understand and implement a common set of business solutions to support the implementation of global enterprise level processes and common business rules. In addition, this individual will be required to respond to agile changes in systems requirements from these varying stakeholders, within a global framework which will apply corporate standards but also allow for local innovation.

The Salesforce Developer will help develop standards and procedures for development and management of modifications. This position will assist in defining architecture to be applied across all implementations, and the processes and mechanisms to support and develop those implementations. The Developer will develop solutions within an Agile framework and will determine necessary data structures, processing procedures, and appropriate output to meet user needs in conjunction with the rest of the team. The Developer will also participate in creating and maintaining technical and user documentation of any developed solution.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT and 3 years’ experience with Salesforce development required.
• Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud CRM required.
• Salesforce Developer certification required.
• Experience with the introduction of new technologies and standards in an unstructured environment.
• Experience in selecting and implementing packaged software solutions.
• Strong ability to conduct research into emerging technologies and IT practices.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills with ability to engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills (both written and oral) and the ability to develop strong working relationships with all levels of the organization.
• Critical thinker with ability to analyze complex problems and develop appropriate solutions under pressure. Ability to consistently meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently as well as be an effective member of a small team-oriented environment. Experience working in Agile teams a plus.
• Experience with Salesforce Non-Profit Success Pack (NPSP) a plus.
• Experience with Salesforce Communities a plus.
• Other Salesforce certifications a plus.
• Experience with Apex and Visual Force a plus.
• Experience in configuration management desired.
• Experience developing and deploying apps using Salesforce DX, Force.com IDE or migration tools a plus.
• Experience in data migration, data hygiene, and bulk data loading into Salesforce desired.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Logic Apps a plus.
• Experience with integrated multi-channel marketing (print, telephone, digital media, social media, ecommerce and/or consumer services) a plus.
• Working knowledge and experience with non-profit fundraising a plus.
• Experience in eCommerce a plus.
