About The Education Coordinator Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic educator with strong interpersonal and organizational skills to join our team of Education Coordinators workingcollaboratively to create and lead in a supportive learning environment for children and adults.
As the Education Coordinator, you will collaborate with our School Director and Regional Director of Education to oversee educational programming and quality improvement initiatives for your assigned school while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and policies. You will provide mentoring and coaching support to team members and guide professional development experiences. Observe and provide timely feedback to Lead Teachers as they develop and implement ago appropriate curriculum designed to advance the development of children across all domains of learning. Actively engage with parents/guardians to provide feedback on children's progress and offer resources and referrals as needed.
Work Schedule & Compensation:
This is a full time Monday-Friday position with a 40 hour work schedule. In addition to a competitive pay rate, The Children's Workshop also offers medical/dental/vision benefits, generous paid time off and holiday schedule, a 403(b) retirement savings plan and child care assistance program.
Requirements
Education, Licensure & Experience:
• Minimum of Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field, such as child development, elementary education or special education;
• Preferred - Current RI Dept of Education teacher certification for grades pre-K to second grade or early childhood special education;
• At least 1 year of supervised teaching experience in a licensed/approved early childhood program;
• Successful completion of RIELDS Foundations plus Implementing a Standards-Based Program (past or within first year of employment.)
