The Children’s Home of Reading Youth & Family Services is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietician to join their team of professionals. The ideal candidate for this role will enjoy working in an residential setting promoting & developing proper meal plans to meet the nutritional requirements according to the medical needs of our youth adolescents in a residential treatment setting.

Position Summary: Ensure healthy eating habits to prevent and treat illness through supervision of food preparation and service, including dietary modifications. Evaluate the diet needs of residents, provide education on nutritional content, and monitor all health restrictions.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree as a Registered Dietician or a minimum post secondary degree in food, nutrition, food service systems management.
• Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills
• Familiar & comfortable with various scope of Behavioral Health/IDD Residential Treatment Setting
• Commitment to making a difference in lives of our clients
• At least 21 years of age

Additional Requirements: The candidate must pass required Criminal Record History Clearance, FBI and Child Abuse History Clearance, as well as possess a valid PA driver's license and maintain a good driving record throughout employment. The candidate must pass a pre-employment Physical & Drug Screening & possess the ability to attend and successfully complete all required trainings.
