Job Purpose:
Physical Therapists strive to maximize function and movement, minimize physical limitations, and increase independence and participation of each child through providing therapeutic techniques, equipment, and opportunities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Upon provider referral, performs patient evaluation and develops specific individualized treatment plan including long and short term goals that are measurable and objective. | 20 |
Performs individualized treatment procedures in a professional and compassionate manner to maximize child’s performance. | 50 |
Collaborates and communicates effectively with members of the patient care team, performs timely and accurate documentation, and stays up to date on the most recent physical therapy techniques through research and CE | 15 |
Evaluates need, orders, and/or fabricates appropriate therapeutic equipment as indicated by patient need. | 10 |
Participates in staff trainings, student observations, clinical instruction of students and interns, and family training opportunities | 5 |
Qualifications:
Education: | Graduate of accredited school of Physical Therapy. |
Experience: | Pediatric experience preferred. |
License/Certification/Credential: | Physical Therapy License from the state of Oklahoma or proven eligibility for licensing within 3-6 months of employment with temporary provisional license. |

Bethany Children’s Health Center is an innovative leader in the field of pediatric rehabilitation and 24-hour complex care. The hospital offers inpatient and outpatient services for children (ages 0-21) and is the only inpatient pediatric rehabilitation facility in Oklahoma.
