Job Purpose:
Occupational Therapists are responsible for organizing and conducting occupational therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation of children with special needs. Directs patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance and facilitates the learning of those skills essential for function adaptation, self-care and productivity, under the supervision of their therapy manager, inpatient or outpatient therapy director, and VP of Rehab/Education.
Compensation:
PRN Therapists are paid $44.92 hourly. Because this rate is specific to PRN/Occasional workers, this rate will be re-evaluated if you choose to go full/part time with us on a regular basis to more align with your education and experience in the role.

Upon provider referral, performs patient evaluation and develops specific individualized treatment plan including long and short term goals that are measurable and objective.

Performs individualized treatment procedures in a professional and compassionate manner to maximize child’s performance.

Collaborates and communicates effectively with members of the patient care team; performs timely and accurate documentation, and stays up to date on the most recent occupational Therapy techniques through research and CE

Evaluates need, orders, and/or fabricates appropriate therapeutic equipment as indicated by patient need.

Participates in staff trainings, student observations, clinical instruction of students and interns, and family training opportunities.

Qualifications:
Education:
Graduate of accredited School of Occupational Therapy. Ability to speak, understand, read and write English required.
Experience:
Pediatric experience preferred
License/Certification/Credential:
Occupational Therapist License from State of Oklahoma or proven eligibility for licensing within 3-6 months of employment with temporary license.
