Responsibilities:

• Adhere to development plan to gain clinical skills necessary to independently provide therapeutic services to children and families

• Support individual and family sessions in collaboration with assigned therapist

• Support development of therapeutic treatment goals in collaboration with assigned therapist

• Utilize clinical interventions, to co-facilitate social skills groups for children and families.

• Conduct interviews and gather information for clinical assessments

• Consult and collaborate with other SMEs to support TCC service delivery

• Support the values of the family, The Children's Center Mission and the commitment to the ongoing safety and family stability

Qualifications: 

• Interest/Ability to transition into a Behavioral Health Services clinician, upon completion of clinical training and received state clinical license

• Advance standing student receiving master's degree in Mental Health related field, such as Social Work, Psychology and/or Counseling and pending graduating status

• Ability to demonstrate basic computer skills related to windows navigation, Microsoft Office, and general office equipment

• Ability to effectively manage time, information, and meet deadlines

• If position requires driving, you must be able to provide proof of having a current, calid driver's liences, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance.

• Master’s Degree without certified licensure from the State of Michigan
