If you would like to be a part of our team and make a real difference in people’s lives. The Child and Family Guidance Center is currently seeking a full-time Medical Receptionist.

The Medical Receptionist is responsible for assisting clients and staff in a busy Outpatient Behavioral Health Unit. They will be a bi-lingual Spanish speaker working within the guidelines, policies, procedures and mission of the Child and Family Guidance Center; understands and supports the Agency’s strategic plan and its Values.

Salary - $17hr 

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following Essential Functions:

• Greet clients and visitors, in person or on the telephone answering or referring inquiries.
• Performs general clerical duties including but not limited to filing, photocopying, faxing, and mailing.
• Assist psychiatrists with making phone calls, scanning, copying, and faxing.
• Follow office policies and procedures.
• Maintain patient accounts by validating all personal and financial information.
• Maintain, record and process clinical results as requested by clinical staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information.
• Manage correspondence to and from community providers, families, pharmacies, and other organizations involved in care.
• Assist in coverage as needed.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Bi-lingual Spanish speaker is required.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• One to three years’ medical office experience required.
• Experience using medical records is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing
• Vaccinated for COVID-19 Virus or eligible for exemption.

Schedule: A 40hr work week Monday – Friday, 8 to 5
