Description

We are currently looking for a Full Time Road To Work Transportation Specialist to join our Transportation Services Route Team team located at the Carl Albert Service Center working .

Summary:

To operate a shuttle bus in transporting people to and from employment destinations within the Chickasaw Nation, and to perform other related work as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Shares responsibilities for maintaining adequate supplies and equipment
  • Maintains general upkeep of work area and maintains a safe environment

  • Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics
  • Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards
  • May provide break coverage for others as assigned
  • May augment staff in other areas as needed based on staffing and needs ratio in regularly assigned unit
  • Maintain knowledge of and follow all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.
  • Maintains schedule to establish time and mileage as best possible
  • Properly cares for vehicle and it's component parts as prescribed by the company to maximize wear and to extend its useful life
  • Inspects each vehicle weekly using the correct procedure and completes the trip inspection form, check safety equipment
  • Keeps vehicle clean and orderly with daily cleaning after each trip as well as checks for lost items
  • Primary responsibilities will include ensuring safe transportation of all riders
  • Must be able to comply with all contractual obligations as well as all local, state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to the operation of the vehicle
  • Check the vehicle at the conclusion of each run to ensure that everyone is off the vehicle
  • All other duties as assigned

  • No prior experience required.

Education:

Essential:
  • High School, GED or Equivalent

Credentials:

Essential:
  • Class B Commercial Driver's License
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification
  • First Aid Certification
  • Standard Driver's License
  • Must be over 21 years old
