Description
We are currently looking for a Full Time Road To Work Transportation Specialist to join our Transportation Services Route Team team located at the Carl Albert Service Center working .
Summary:
To operate a shuttle bus in transporting people to and from employment destinations within the Chickasaw Nation, and to perform other related work as required.
Responsibilities:
- Provides first class customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types

- Partners with internal and external services as needed to ensure appropriate referral is made
- Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities

- Shares responsibilities for maintaining adequate supplies and equipment
- Maintains general upkeep of work area and maintains a safe environment
- Observes and addresses potential environmental hazards and risks
- Maintains and promotes professionalism
- Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics
- Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards
- May provide break coverage for others as assigned
- May augment staff in other areas as needed based on staffing and needs ratio in regularly assigned unit
- Maintain knowledge of and follow all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.
- Maintains schedule to establish time and mileage as best possible
- Properly cares for vehicle and it's component parts as prescribed by the company to maximize wear and to extend its useful life
- Inspects each vehicle weekly using the correct procedure and completes the trip inspection form, check safety equipment
- Keeps vehicle clean and orderly with daily cleaning after each trip as well as checks for lost items
- Primary responsibilities will include ensuring safe transportation of all riders
- Must be able to comply with all contractual obligations as well as all local, state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to the operation of the vehicle
- Check the vehicle at the conclusion of each run to ensure that everyone is off the vehicle
