The Program Manager works under the guidance of the Assistant Director Residential Supports with the focus on implementation, management, supervision, monitoring and evaluation of the programs to ensure compliance in accordance with the established standard. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PROGRAM MANAGER

As the Program Manager, you will provide direct support, and supervision to DSPs. Under the guidance of the Assistant Director of Residential Support, ensure the care, connection in the community and desires of the people supported are caried out. Oversee the day -to day operation of areas assigned to ensure the facilities are in the best operational condition possible. Other duties assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to pass a background check upon hire
• Valid driver's license

Requirements

• Bachelors' degree preferred but high school diploma acceptable with ten (10) years' experience in developmental disabilities and a minimum of five (5) years supervisory experience
• Knowledge of person-centered services and general understanding of policies and procedures as they relate to people with disabilities also preferred
• Strong organizational
• Strong oral and writing skills
• Experience with Microsoft office
• Team player

Travel

Travel mainly within Spartanburg County, infrequent visits to other parts of state as well as travel out of state for conference may be required
