The Charles Lea Center is Hiring a Direct support professional Near Greenville, NC

We have immediate openings for Community Support Specialists.

Pay Rate : This position starts at $17.50 / HR along with a $500-$1K Sign on Bonus.

We have a variety of schedules, shifts, and locations available. In addition to Full Time opportunities, this is a great opportunity for a student or anyone looking for a 2nd job.

Additionally, we provide an array of other support services designed around supporting people to achieve their unique goals and interests.

Depending upon the individual's needs and desires, Community Support Specialists (Direct Support Professionals), with the help of technology, provide the needed level of support and care, allowing the person to be more self-sufficient.

Charles Lea Center staff is experienced at customizing supports and programs to fit the individual. In fact, it's what we do best! We support and train our staff to understands the needs of men and women who are living alone for perhaps the first time in their lives.

As a Community Support Specialist, you are part of our Direct Support team and your passion for empowering others, teaching, and helping others achieve their potential contributes to our exceptional services and high level of satisfaction of those we support.

Acting as the first line of support to the amazing people and families served by The Charles Lea Center, you will work and communicate in an open, helpful, and engaging tone, to support others to take steps on their journey to independence.

Your Role : Our Community Support Specialist works under the general supervision of the Program Manager. Your skill set provides for the health, safety, accountability, supervision and training for people supported in the community.

In this role you will assist people supported in all aspects of Community living, enabling people supported to be as independent as possible.
