Job Summary:
This position will equip disciples in middle school and high school to live in the ways of Jesus.

Responsibilities:
-- Work in partnership with The Chapel’s mission for equipping disciples to live in the ways of Jesus

- Build, train and lead volunteer teams to invest in students’ lives

- Prayerfully plan, implement, and execute all student ministry initiatives

o Youth worship

o Youth discipleship

o Youth retreats

o Youth serving/missions opportunities

o Youth budget

- Build relationships with parents/guardians and communicate effectively with them

- Enter the world of the student to lead them to Christ

- Work with a Kingdom mindset

- Build partnerships with other youth leaders in our community

- Have a willing spirit and good attitude to help beyond the areas of student ministries for the sake of the larger church

Skills:
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to inspire and motivate youth
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of Christian principles and the ability to integrate them into programming
- Ability to organize and coordinate events and activities for large groups of youth
