Job Summary This is a role within CG's IT Advanced Analytics and Data group. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) provide technical leadership expertise to design and deliver end-to-end MLOps engineering solutions to support advanced analytics capabilities and drive innovation and decision-making across Chamberlain, and (ii) Deploy and maintain various types of ML and AI models in production including model performance tracking and CI/CD pipelines for model retraining. Requires a minimum of a Bachelors degree in computer science or related study and 7 years of hands-on professional MLOps engineering experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Deploy and maintain various types of ML and AI models in production including model performance tracking and CI/CD pipelines for model retraining. Develop standards and best practices for MLOps discipline and ensure consistency to these standards. Work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and data engineers to ensure successful deployment and management of AI/ML models. Develop and maintain MLOps related infrastructure. Stay abreast of current and emerging technologies to support new concept development, including emerging machine learning, data management, and AI capabilities with the real-time implementation of AI/ML software. Partner with the Lead Architect on ML architecture and solution design. Perform design, code, and test plan reviews in support of maintaining data engineering standards. Collaborate with data scientists to prepare data for model development and production. Provide technical leadership to MLOps engineering associates and third-party contractors. Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams. Protect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies. Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed. Minimum Qualifications Education/Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related quantitative field of study Experience: 7 years of hands-on professional MLOps engineering experience including understanding of container technology, Restful API and other various model deployment techniques and model performance measurement in production. Expertise in MLOps, Feature Store, Model Serving design, implementation, and operations. Agile methodologies Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Natural sense of urgency, teamwork, and collaboration reflected in daily work ethic Strong knowledge of modern machine learning techniques.
