Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to join our team. As the Food and Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional service and customer satisfaction. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for the food industry.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all food and beverage operations, including catering, banquets, and restaurant service
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and minimize costs
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food safety standards
- Train, supervise, and motivate staff members to deliver exceptional customer service
- Create and maintain menus that meet the needs of our diverse customer base
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and adherence to sanitation standards
- Stay updated on industry trends and implement innovative ideas to enhance the dining experience
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food service management or restaurant management is required
- Strong knowledge of catering, banquet, and restaurant operations
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Preferred Skills:
- Bartending experience is a plus
- Familiarity with kitchen operations is beneficial
