The Catalytic Fund is Hiring a Manager of Loan Operations and Compliance Near Covington, KY

The Manager of Loan Operations and Compliance is responsible for managing the operational processes and servicing functions for the Catalytic Fund loan portfolio and ensuring regulatory compliance with all organizational certifications. The Manager will assist staff from loan origination through commitment, closing, and funding. The servicing functions include management of the portfolio for all loan programs, collection of loan payments, distribution of loan proceeds, and monitoring for portfolio compliance and performance.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Build, manage, and oversee an effective system that is responsible for oversight of loan operations for all loan programs.

2. Work with Catalytic Fund Staff to ensure effectiveness and coordination across the loan portfolio and mission-oriented programs.

3. Maintain oversight of servicing of the loan portfolios.

4. Ensure program compliance for all required program regulations.

5. Develop a long-term strategy for executing on the organization’s operational activities while ensuring stakeholder confidence.

6. Where necessary, develop templates, policies, and procedures to scale the operations.

7. Effectively communicate and build key relationships with lending partners.

8. Act as liaison to the external partners and borrowers to identify any compliance issues.

9. Create, edit, and coordinate the completion of approval and closing documents.

10. Develop a working knowledge of the company’s loan processes.

11. Manage the data entry functions, disbursement, and collection activity.

12. Ensure program reporting and analysis is sufficient for donor, regulatory compliance, and management requirements.

13. Maintain programmatic and regulatory compliance for all federal funding sources.

14. Maintain a working knowledge of potential outsourced solutions, third party vendors, and other resources that could simplify operations.

15. Work with key staff and system providers to utilize software applications to fullest capacity, streamlining processes and procedures by ensuring accuracy and compliance.

16. Provide on-going training and coaching to team members.

Hiring Requirements & Attributes

· Four or more years of relevant experience in a lending or portfolio management role

· Experience in loan servicing and loss mitigation

· Strong capability with MS Office programs (esp. Word and Excel)

· Strong knowledge of financial terminology and lending practices

· Commercial loan-closing and documentation experience a plus

· Strong knowledge of loan origination and servicing platforms a plus

· Good writing, analytical, and communication skills

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
