Scope of Position

The Asset Management Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Asset Management and Customer Success team with reporting, data analysis, project O&M, contract management and commissioning for solar, battery energy storage, and EV charging behind-the-meter projects. This position will work cross-functionally with the software, business development, engineering, and execution teams. The role will also manage relationships with utilities, reporting agencies, and 3rd party contractors. The Asset Management Analyst will work with various internal and external software systems including MS Office Suite, PowerFlex X platform, NetSuite, TimberScan, Flask, Salesforce, and many regulatory websites.

Responsibilities

EVSE: LCFS – 10%

  • Register new eligible sites as they become commissioned
  • Submit all registered EVSE data on CARB on a continual basis
  • Arrange and execute the purchase of REC’s for all LCFS; this will include brokering with 3rd parties
  • Execute and track the sale of LCFS credits
  • Streamline and standardize the LCFS registration, and reporting process
  • Work with the Software team to improve efficiency and automate the LCFS reporting process through the PowerFlex X platform

Solar & Storage: Commissioning – 10%

  • Collaborate on commissioning checklists with internal execution team for the onboarding of new solar and storage projects
  • Quality check projects after commissioning solar and storage, including meter readings, capacity tests, EMS operations
  • Build processes for the Asset Management side of commissioning new solar and storage projects

Solar & Storage: O&M – 40%

  • Perform daily monitoring of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Solar installations
  • Schedule, complete, and track all preventive maintenance, including module washing, for all Solar and Storage Projects
  • Remote troubleshoot with OEMs, integrators, O&M, and EMS teams
  • Provide reporting to site hosts and offtakers for EVSE, Solar, and BESS projects
  • Communicate O&M updates to site hosts and offtakers before and after O&M visits
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective maintenance
  • Support negotiation and management of service provider agreements & amendments
  • Uphold PowerFlex safety standards internally and with subcontractors – including OSHA 30 best practices

All Technologies: Contract Management – 30%

  • Work with Business Development team to ensure all production sites have a MSA executed
  • Monitor, track, and approve the payment to subcontractors
  • Ensure all of PowerFlex’s contractual obligations are being met internally and by/with subcontractors

Qualifications

Education/Experience-

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, energy, or related field
  • Previous internship experience in renewable energy industry preferred
  • Previous experience working with subcontractors preferred

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities-

  • Beyond exceptional attention to detail
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and complete tasks efficiently
  • Self-starter who can manage responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • Ability to manage up and take ownership even in unfamiliar territory
  • Competent knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others

The annual compensation estimate for this role is within the range of $56,190 - $117, 063. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, business needs, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
