The Cambian Group is Hiring a Support worker Near Salisbury, MA

Support Worker Term Time only

Salary : £11.59

40 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.

Contract : Permanent

Grateley House School has a successful tradition of supporting students between the ages of 11-19, with Autism Spectrum Condition (High Functioning Autism) and associated difficulties, to gain valuable life skills, qualifications and confidence to support their journey towards independence.

The young people we educate and care for come to us with a huge variety of needs and difficulties. Our challenge is to help them build the hope, confidence, knowledge and skills to unlock their potential.

From innovative educational experiences to national curriculum programmes, supported by passionate teams of specialists and key workers, we actively enable each young person to achieve their personal best, all in an environment that best suits them.

You will be an integral part of a small team of approximately 6 staff including support workers, senior support workers, an Assistant Team Manager and Team Manager.

As a key part of the dedicated teams we allocate to every child, you’ll have a vital role in helping children learn and develop skills for life.

You don’t need any special qualifications for this role, but you do need to share our passion to help children be the very best they can be.

In return, our new and improved training programmes will help you develop your professional skills. And you’ll also learn from some of the most dedicated and inspirational people in our profession and, just like our residents, you will be learning all the time through our on-going mentoring and support.

We are looking for Support Workers that are :

Flexible in working shift patterns on a rota basis to suit the needs of the young people.

Able to input into professional documentation with the support of your management team

Fully supported 6 month probationary period- You will receive a mentor and line manager to help you get the best start to your career at Grateley House School.
