The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the upscale sports bar's operations, including the indoor golf and entertainment areas as well as the restaurant and hospitality services, while ensuring exceptional customer experiences, managing staff, and achieving financial objectives. This role requires a blend of leadership, hospitality expertise, and a passion for delivering a high-end sports entertainment experience.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the luxury sports bar, ensuring a seamless and efficient guest experience.
Oversee all aspects of the indoor golf facility, including golf simulators, equipment, and the restaurant.
Maintain the facility's atmosphere, cleanliness, and functionality to ensure an exceptional guest experience
Maintain the venue's upscale atmosphere and ensure it aligns with the brand's image and values.
Implement and enforce high standards for service quality, cleanliness, and overall presentation.
Ensure exceptional customer service is provided to all patrons, fostering a welcoming and engaging environment.
Handle guest feedback and complaints promptly and professionally, aiming for swift resolution.
Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the guest experience and exceed expectations.
Recruit, hire, train, and manage a team of servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff.
Provide leadership and mentorship to staff, encouraging a high level of professionalism, teamwork, and attention to detail.
Conduct regular performance evaluations, offer feedback, and identify growth opportunities for employees.
Manage the scheduling of golf simulator sessions, lessons, and events.
Ensure that golf equipment and simulators are properly maintained and in optimal condition.
Collaborate with golf instructors to coordinate lessons and clinics.
Oversee all aspects of the restaurant, including food service, food quality, and presentation.
Collaborate with the Kitchen Manager to monitor kitchen operations, food safety, and hygiene to ensure compliance with regulations.
Manage budgets, forecasting revenue and expenses to ensure profitability.
Monitor financial performance, analyze sales data, and implement strategies to maximize revenue and control costs.
Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining appropriate stock levels.
Plan, promote, and execute special events, promotions, and parties to enhance the overall guest experience.
Coordinate entertainment offerings, such as interactive games, live music, and sports-related activities.
Keep up-to-date with sports schedules and coordinate programming accordingly.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including food handling, sanitation, and alcohol service standards.
Implement COVID-19 safety protocols and maintain a safe environment for both guests and staff.
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and partners to ensure timely deliveries and favorable terms.
Interact with guests, addressing inquiries, building rapport, and promoting loyalty to the establishment.
