Position Summary The MRO Associate Buyer/Admin is responsible for all purchase order maintenance, acknowledgement, tracking, and expediting. They are responsible for the purchasing activities for a specified subset of vendors or materials. They support the Custom Deco Plant with internal and external facing inventory reports. Confirms MRO order acknowledgements and reviews for accuracy. Initiates corrective action regarding order detail discrepancies. Responsible for on-time delivery of MRO purchase orders. Identifies expediting needs for MRO purchase orders and partners with vendors to execute. Updates order status changes in MRO tracking log and communicates to Production team. Coordinates and resolves vendor invoice discrepancies. Issues MRO purchase orders for a specified subset of vendors. Generates and distributes inventory reports as assigned. Participates in continuous improvement projects and initiatives as assigned. General administrative duties as assigned. Job Skills Requirements Basic knowledge of supply chain, procurement, and expediting functional duties Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong in organizational skills such as prioritization Proficiency with PC software, Microsoft Excel, and SAP (a plus) Ability to work in a team environment Ability to escalate issues when needed Education & Experience Experience in Supply Chain is a plus 1-5 years of professional experience
