Safety Administrator- Job Description

Reports to:
Safety Director
Summary:
The Safety Administrator be the liaison between the Safety Director and trade partners. This role will be coordinating all risk management, handling administrative duties as well as training schedules. This role is a crucial to the success to our Safety department.
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate outreach to all Trade Partners.
  • Manage completion of report cards for Operations Staff.
  • Manage Bobbitt and Radius (Bobbitt spin off) risk management as well as trade partners.
  • Serious Incident or Fatality Potential (SIP) development, tracking and follow up.
  • Manage Bobbitt risk insurance renewals and claims.
  • Track Owner and GC Prequalification’s as well as 3rd party management systems.
  • Order and maintain signage.
  • Manage all PPE, ordering, inventory and hard hat labeling.
  • Haystack (Bobbitt Intranet) Maintenance.
  • Generate monthly reports.
  • Procore Administration.
  • Coordinate all trade partner and employee training.
  • Administrator of all employee requirements.
Required Knowledge, Experience & Competencies:
  • Strong administrative skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Customer service.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • 2 years in a safety administrative or safety support role.
Preferred Knowledge, Experience & Competencies:
  • Bilingual in Spanish.
  • Specific safety experience within the construction industry.
  • Experience using Procore and Trade Tapp.
  • Experience with Sage (or similar accounting software).
  • College Degree or equivalent work experience.
Work Format:
This position requires team collaboration and presence at in-person meetings and is best suited to a traditional work schedule. Occasional remote work is acceptable.
Travel Requirements:
  • Occasional travel (10-15%) to meetings and events, typically within a 100-mile radius of the office.
  • Semi-frequent travel (20-30%) to various job site locations as needed for photography or milestone events.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. as needed to handle safety gear, as well as general office related items, laptop, etc..
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to see well (naturally or with correction).
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License.
