This position is responsible for traveling to pre-scheduled appointments to install energy-efficient equipment and products. Services are targeted to the residential customers. Installers will also be tasked with introducing and explaining the incentive programs that pertain to these customer sectors. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Travel locally to pre-scheduled residential appointments to install energy-efficiency equipment, including thermostats, HVAC cleaning, and repair and change out light bulbs
• Ensure the meeting of customer specifications and company quality standards while providing excellent customer service to the end-user
• Complete and maintain all required program paperwork, records, documents, etc
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the program’s strategic direction regarding energy efficiency
• Provide and explain leave-behind materials regarding other programs directed

Position Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required

• One to two years of previous customer service/sales experience is required.
• Experience in installing technologies, manual labor and using tools – Preferred
• Must be able to handle a wide work variety and work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook and comfortable entering data into tracking systems/databases
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with customers, clients and employees; Skilled in explaining basic technical concepts to non-technical population
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Willingness to travel locally approximately 95% of the time
