Responsibilities:

• Evaluate & understand project specs, blueprints and other documentation to prepared detailed cost estimates
• Design & engineer HVAC systems that meet specific requirements of commercial buildings
• Utilize CAD to create and design plans for HVAC systems
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for HVAC projects including materials, labor, equipment and subcontractor needs
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure project execution
• Ensure all HVAC designs and installations comply with local, state and federal regulations

Requirements:

• 5 years designing & engineering HVAC systems
• Experienced with project size(s) between $50,000 - $5M
• Ideally experience with big box warehouses
• Experienced with CAD
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Strong attention to detail
