24 Days PTO! - Use it, Cash it, Roll itPotential Company BonusesTuition Reimbursement 401k Retirement PlanHealth Insurance (Medical, Vision, and Dental)Healthcare and Dependent Care FSAShort and Long-Term DisabilityEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Basic Life InsuranceSchedule:1st shift: Monday to Friday (8:00am - 5:00pm) with occasional evening and weekend work requiredPosition OverviewResponsible for supporting operational strategies for recruitment and collection goals utilizing HemaCollect and HemaConnect software.This position must reflect professionalism, competency, exemplary customer services skills, and a genuine appreciation for the donor groups while promoting the values and mission of The Blood Connection.This position requires skills in working with donor sponsor groups, community groups, and other employees of The Blood Connection involved in these functions.The Donor Resources Account Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Donor Resources team in all administrative tasks as assigned. Essential FunctionsMaintains all blood drive details within HemaCollect and HemaConnect as assignedProvides administrative support for Account Managers and Blood Drive Event CoordinatorsAssists with ensuring all blood drive materials are sent out by the assigned rolling monthly deadlineWorks in concert with colleagues to perform back up support to the calendar needs as assignedPerforms routine administrative duties to include generating reports, answering/responding to internal and external customers, reaching out to sponsor groups, validating that all blood drive details are accurate and up to date within TBC softwarePrepares and maintains various reports and data as requiredProvides superior customer service to both blood drive sponsor groups and colleaguesConstructs and maintains HemaCollect account notes related to blood drive scheduling, customer service issues, contact/coordinator related information, and all other touch points as assignedConfirms preliminary blood drive details and logistics with blood drive sponsor groups as assignedWorks one on one with new Account Managers after training to get them acclimated to the department procedures and computer systemOrders department office suppliesAssists with scheduling blood drives as assignedCreates Google docs for various needsPrepares monthly Account Manager calendar assignmentsHandles all set up of new Account Managers providing equipment and ensuring the new employees are assigned properly in both HemaConnect and HemaCollectTracks Account Manager equipment inventoryAttends occasional blood drives as assignedAudits booked drive industry codes for accuracyPrepares marketing packs for new and established sponsorsCreates new systems to help maximize department efficiency (e.g., leader board)Prepares in-office and onsite equipment for Account Managers to ensure appropriate brandingSubmits grant requests through AccountingAssists with facilitating department meetingsCreates and manages department correspondenceWorks closely with Marketing and other departments to ensure complianceUpdates and distributes daily calendar needs for the team three times each daySchedules and monitors Recruiter’s scheduleMotivates and encourages staff through the leader board, monthly awards, team building, birthday acknowledgement, etc.Provides recommendations to improve business unit operationsOther duties as assigned or requiredMinimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDValid Driver’s License with no major infractions and dependable transportationExperience working with the publicCustomer service, marketing, clinical, and/or sales experienceExercises discretion and judgment in performance of dutiesProficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook)Ability to communicate effectively, tactfully, and courteously to patrons, donors, sponsors and co-workersAbility to sell The Blood Connection to all groups in the community by carrying our message of community serviceDemonstrates the persona necessary for skillfully asking for blood drives and handling rejection, when given by groups, with professionalism and a positive attitudeAbility to follow up respectfully with accountsPossesses the aptitude for continued skill developmentPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
