Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, detailed, and team oriented Bartender to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. Good Bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. Compensation includes competitive hourly pay and tips.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
• Interact with customers (build rapport), take orders and serve snacks and drinks
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails up to the Block standards
• Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience (including watching for over intoxication)
• Assist with daily cleaning duties
• Performing prep duties for daily service
• Perform opening and closing duties according to the Block checklist
• Checking restrooms periodically
• Assisting in duties to promote the Block Bar and better serve its patrons
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Requirements

• Resume and proven working experience as a Bartender
• Excellent knowledge in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
• Computer & Point of Sale (POS) literacy
• Knowledge of a second language is a plus
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Team oriented work ethic
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
• Must be 21 and a legal US resident (or legally allowed to work)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $2.13 - $12.00 per hour
