Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and creating a memorable experience for our guests. You will showcase your hospitality skills by preparing and serving a variety of beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take drink orders and prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes
- Provide recommendations on drink selections based on customer preferences
- Upsell additional menu items and promote specials
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Engage with customers, build rapport, and create a positive atmosphere
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide exceptional hospitality
- Knowledge of various drink recipes and mixology techniques
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely service
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and food handling procedures is a plus
