The Blick Center is Hiring an Intake Coordinator Near Akron, OH
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Ensuring the Center’s favorable first impression and shaping the interactions an individual will continue to have with the agency.
- Providing information on the services available through Blick.
- Assisting individuals, families, legal guardians, and advocates through the referral process.
- Explaining evaluation/assessment process.
- Determining service and financial eligibility, and
- Scheduling the initial assessment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Ability to multitask and work independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Friendly demeanor with good interpersonal skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Administrative support experience.
- Knowledge of Intake/Admissions and Scheduling role.
- Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid, Managed Care, and private/commercial insurances is preferred.
- Experience in the Mental Health and Developmental Disability fields is a plus.
