Primary Responsibilities: Medication Technician 7AM - 3PM
- Supports our assisted living residents by providing companionship, supportive listening and activities of daily living, i.e. bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.
- Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress
- Assures medication management program is provided in an accurate, professional, and effective way according to The Blake standards and state regulations
- Must understand and be able to provide explanation about the medication dosage/pharmacology when needed
- Distribute prescribed medications to residents and maintain related medical records
- Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team
- Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy
Education/Experience/ Licensure/Certification: Medication Technician 7AM - 3PM
- Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others
- High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
- Current Medication Technician License
- CPR/First Aid, preferred
- Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
- Experience working with older adults preferred
- Ability to bend, stoop, carry, and lift light to moderate items
- Must be able to assist with mobility support and transfer assistance
- Compassion, positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a team player
