We are currently searching for a Director of Wellness for The Blake at St. Johns – a community located in St. Johns FL, anticipated to open in early Summer 2024.

As the Director of Wellness for The Blake at St. Johns, you’ll be responsible for overseeing a diverse set of responsibilities, including:

• Overseeing the Wellness (Nursing Care) department to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations
• Managing nursing and personal care personnel to oversee resident well-being and care
• Evaluating the physical, functional, and psycho-social condition of residents taking proactive care measures
• Promoting exceptional care and fostering service excellence
• Guaranteeing compliance with both Federal and State regulations and standards for the community

Requirements

• A genuine heart that thrives on serving others
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited nursing college or university
• Three years of nursing experience
• Two years of supervisory experience
• Current RN license as required by state regulations
• Must have experience in hiring staff, managing budgets, and managing schedules
• Must be flexible and prepared to assist on a variety of shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Current First Aid certification
• Current CPR certification
• Experience in Assisted Living or Long-term care
• Experience in dementia care
