Consider the possibility of joining our team on Martha’s Vineyard, available for both seasonal and year-round positions.

Our restaurant is actively recruiting for manager, assistant manager, sous chef and line cooks, commencing this spring. We provide comprehensive support for our staff, including paid commuter ferry pass, meal, and merchandise discounts. Candidates must be available to work at least an 8-hour shift on the island, including days, evenings, and weekends.

We offer competitive wages for all positions (wages for all roles are determined based on experience):

• Manager and Assistant Manager: commensurate with experience
• Sous Chef: $25-28 per hour
• Line Cook: $19-22 per hour

The Black Dog’s foodservice operations is home to the renowned harbor-front full serve restaurant, The Black Dog Tavern, operating year-round and offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Our Water St. Bakery features quick, freshly made sandwiches and breakfast items, alongside our delightful pastries. Additionally, the Bakery Café offers a comprehensive menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as specialty coffees, cakes, pastries, and more. During the season, our Dockside Café is open seven days a week, serving breakfast, lunch, snacks, and beverages.
