We are seeking a motivated, entry level, Staff Accountant to join our clients accounting team! This is a great role for someone who is looking to build their career in Accounting with a large company. MUST be local to Arizona and willing to work hybrid at their Phoenix location. Details below:

Job Summary:

What you’ll do:

• Manage core accounting responsibilities including journal entry processing, ledger reconciliation and analysis, and generating regular and ad-hoc reports.
• Review classification of expenses in the general ledger report and prepare necessary adjustments in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Implement process improvements/efficiencies; perform financial analysis
• Communicate and work collaboratively with corporate departments and area operations and administration
• Assist with various audit tasks, including providing support and/or documentation for internal and external audit and various ad-hoc reports as needed
• Identify and help to implement process improvements/efficiencies within the accounting department
• Problem solve independently or through collaborative efforts with various personnel
• Promote companies core values, leadership principles, and culture
• Perform other responsibilities as requested by leadership

What you’ll have:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is required
• Strong computer proficiency, specially excel
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to multi task and accomplish all assignment timely, independently, and against deadlines
• Communicate professionally
