We are looking for a Graphic Layout Designer to join our team. You’ll be part of a talented group that collaborates to deliver world class products to our customers. In this role, you will work with a team of Project Managers to organize information, photos and drawings to create detailed instructions. You will takes ownership for the graphic design requirements for product artwork, packaging, retail displays, production of labels, lid-stock, and all other finished goods requested by clients. You can also expect to work closely with Project Managers and Account Managers to ensure the design is meeting the clients’ expectation and will ensure formal approvals have been received prior to final production. This position is also responsible for maintaining instructions for each graphic rollout that is shipped and managing the filing system and large catalog of current graphics and store setups.

Shift available: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (working between our office and a remote working location)

A variety of these traits will help land you this job if you have:

• an Associates Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• experience in an Apple Mac environment utilizing Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Excel preferred

• advanced working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite preferred

• prior experience working in a digital print, merchandising fixture production and/or the retail industry preferred

• prior experience working in a fast-paced mid-size company

• experience working with planograms and store maps

• able to review and understand 3-D technical drawings

In this position, you will:

• focus on producing detailed die lines based off the 3-D drawings as well as working on planograms and detailed instructions for retail brand assortments.
• review detailed 3-D drawings to create die lines along with live & trim for clients to create graphics.
• develop and maintain a strong relationship with clients which will ensure that we have an understanding of their products and needs.
• collaborate with employees and departments across several functions within the organization to achieve desired results.
• bring ideas to the team and other operating areas within the organization to improve processes and procedures to ensure that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
• be responsible for the graphic design requirements for packaging and product artwork, including the production of labels, lidstock, and display box artwork; support for formal artwork approvals; and maintenance of packaging labeling development procedures.
• verify vendor proofs, makes corrections or communicates changes to ensure all printed components match approved artwork files.
• assist Print PM team by reviewing and learning each brand graphic kit and produce detailed overviews/instructions for stores to follow for successful installations.
• manage a large catalog of graphics, listing locations, dates and monitoring what is current.
• effectively manages multiple projects, changes in project scope, and shifting priorities in order to maintain project requirements and ensure deadlines are met using design programs such as Adobe Acrobat and Illustrator, Photoshop on a Mac.
• collaborate with department and cross-functional peers to ensure proper resolution to questions and issues that arise during the artwork development process.
• perform miscellaneous projects and complete various tasks as requested by others in management.
