Obtains ACLS,PALS training within 90 days of employment.

Performs assessment and re-assessment according to age and condition according to policy.

Evaluates effectiveness of treatments given and documents appropriately.

Provides discharge instructions to patient or caregiver on a level that they can understand.

Assures that assigned area is neat, clean, and well stocked for patient care.

Demonstrates skill in performing 12-lead EKG, HHN TX and phlebotomy as well as routine nursing care.

Acts as a preceptor for new employee’s and/or students assigned.
