The Barkley Pet Resort is growing our team of passionate pet lovers. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of professional pet care experience and at least 1 year of experience as a supervisor.

They must demonstrate the highest level of pet care and be able to lead the staff on their shift to do the same. Position responsibilities include participating in and overseeing pet care for the resort such as feeding, medication, sanitation standards, playgroups, bathing, basic first aid, and individual pet activities.

A Pet Care Lead will assign and follow up on the daily duties required to provide care for our furry guests, share care and behavior information with clients, and insure all information is documented.

Professional verbal and written communication

Qualifications :

Passion for pet care and customer service

1 years of professional pet care experience

1 years of supervisor experience

Strong attention to detail

Must be able to handle multiple tasks and remain flexible with assigned duties

Must be able to work well in a team environment

Demonstrates excellent time and task management for self and others.

Must be comfortable driving productivity and pace of staff during assigned shifts.

Demonstrates professional and courteous presentation with team and clients

Must be consistently positive, punctual, and professional

Work Environment / Physical Demands

• Move throughout the resort for extended periods of time (up to 6-8 hours per day).
• Being able to lift and move 40 lbs.
• Understand and respond to team members' and guests’ requests in a loud environment
• Bend, stoop, and reach in order to run and load dogs / cats, serve customers, and clean the resort
