Description
The Austen Riggs Center seeks an energetic, outgoing Director of Referral Relations who is passionate about helping patients find meaningful success when other mental health treatments have not worked.
This full-time position will be responsible for supporting ties with existing referral sources and looking for innovative ways to create new relationships. Reporting to the Director of Communications, and in partnership with the Admissions and Clinical staff, members of the Erikson Institute, and the Medical Director/CEO, this role is perfect for an individual who wants to be an active partner in developing and executing strategic approaches to amplify the Center’s reputation and support its mission.
The successful candidate will have expertise in referral relations; is familiar with the mental health care industry; and can speak to the unique approach Austen Riggs Center takes to treat our patients. Additionally, this person must have both the interest and ability to travel regularly, mainly in the Northeast, but occasionally in other parts of the nation.
The success of this role will be measured by the generation of admission inquiries from or on behalf of patients who are clinically appropriate for the type of care that Riggs provides and who have the time and resources to engage in Riggs treatment for an extended period.
