Our client, a busy Orthopedic office in Bergen County has an immediate opening for an Experienced Surgical Pre-certification Specialist.

In this role you will be responsible for obtaining and providing accurate and complete data input for precertification/preauthorization from insurance companies.

Qualifications for the Pre-certification Specialist are:

Experience with Precertification for Cat Scan, MRI etc.

Workman’s Comp, Motor Vehicle/ no--fault helpful.

Familiar with all forms of commercial insurance plans and services.

Must have knowledge of current CPT and ICD 10 codes

Working knowledge of managed care, Medicare, Medicaid, and other payers

Knowledge of Microsoft office, Microsoft Excel

Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast- paced environment

Pre-certification Specialist must be able to understand patient benefits, coverage, deductibles, and other pertinent information.

Hours are Monday-Friday 9-5 Salary $23-$24 per hour.
