Job Overview: Are you passionate about guiding new talent and ensuring they excel in their roles? We are seeking a dedicated Training and Staffing Coordinator to lead the orientation and onboarding process for our Residential Direct Support Counselor staff members. In this role, you will schedule and lead the Residential New Employee Orientation for DSP, setting up a comprehensive training schedule. Your attention to detail will be crucial as you track new employee training to ensure completion within the first 60 days, working closely with supervisors to ensure compliance. Key Responsibilities:Track and maintain accurate training records of temporary and permanent Direct Support Counselors, Job coaches and Community Development Coaches. Notify staff of expiring training and status and provide necessary information needed to obtain compliance (assist staff with registering for classes or provide nursing schedule).Complete all administrative tasks associated with obtaining, renewing, and maintaining training certifications and filling vacancies.Lead CPR/First aid and Mandt classes/month or as necessary.Schedule coverage for vacant shifts, projected leave, holidays, and scheduled day program closing. Why Join Us:Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities. Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred. Three or more years of work-related experience, especially working with individuals with disabilities. Computer knowledge, including Microsoft systems, with the ability and willingness to learn new software systems.
