We are looking for a Caregiver to join our team and provide compassionate care to our residents. The ideal candidate will have experience providing personal care and support to individuals in need, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. The successful candidate will also be able to provide emotional support and companionship to our residents and their families.

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living including showers, toileting, dressing, grooming, oral care, transfers, and ambulation.

· Participates in activity programming including identifying resident preferences for activities and offering hands-on guidance or assistance.

· Assists in the dining room at mealtime preparing food, serving meals, and cleaning up.

· Performs housekeeping duties such as tidying rooms, emptying trash and maintaining clean bathrooms.

· Launders resident clothing as required.

· Must possess an understanding of emergency call systems and be able to respond to an emergency signal coming from a resident room.

· Must be able to perform basic documentation in the resident’s online medical record and maintain confidentiality of all health-related information.

· Must be able to assist in the event of an unusual occurrence or emergency evacuation.

· Must complete state-required in-service training in mandated time frame.

· Ability to listen and communicate verbally and in writing in English.

· Complete TB test within 7 days of hire, and health physical screening within 30 days of hire.

· Complete Basic First Aid and/or CPR within 30 days of hire and maintain regular certification.

· Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or bend for long periods of time.

· Must be able to push/pull up to 100 lbs. and lift up to 50 lbs.
