Plus Interiors is paying $50,000 salary for a full-time Production Planner to plan & facilitate production flow through our Manufacturing floor, while helping to optimize our manufacturing processes and efficiencies. We are looking for a hard-working, reliable, competent, experienced and organized person who is detail-oriented & versed in production planning.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures all jobs run through production on-time with quality, velocity and efficiency.
  • Integrates sales orders with master schedule; coordinates availability of raw materials, supplies, equipment, and staff as needed to meet delivery dates.

• Maintains master distribution schedule for the facility; revises as needed and alerts appropriate staff of schedule changes or delays.
  • This includes communicating with internal support functions, to establish scheduled and plans that allocated available necessary resources and other.

• • Supporting metrics should be included, like cycle times, cell output, dwell time and other pertinent operational efficiency KPIs and shared with appropriate departments.
  • Bottlenecks and other impediments to velocity are identified and solved with the correct parties.

Requirements/Looking For:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Thorough understanding of the business and supply chain
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with production planning systems is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
• At least five years of related experience preferred
• Professional certification by the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) preferred
