Position: RN Nurse Director, Emergency Department, TraumaEmployment Type: Full- Time, DaysLocation: Brooklyn, NYSalary: $175,000 - 195,000 annual salaryThe ARRA Group, a boutique healthcare recruitment firm, has partnered with our Brooklyn-based Health System client to hire an exceptional Nurse Director to oversee an extremely fast-paced Emergency Trauma DepartmentThis Nursing Director role requires resilience, adaptability, and a transformative mindset to drive excellence in Emergency Department patient care and departmental operations. The Nurse Director will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic vision of the Emergency Trauma Department while ensuring the highest standards of nursing practice.Responsibilities 

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Emergency Trauma Department, providing clinical oversight and guidance to nursing staff.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor nursing staff, fostering a culture of professional growth. Encourage ongoing education and training for staff development.
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction. Monitor and analyze performance metrics, implementing necessary improvements.
  • Foster open communication channels between staff, physicians, and other healthcare providers and act as a liaison between the Emergency Trauma Department and hospital leadership.
Requirements
  • Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN)
  • Current RN License in New York
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in emergency nursing management.
  • Demonstrated resilience and ability to navigate and lead through change.
