Nestled in the tropical paradise of Hawaii, the Neonatal Nurse Practitioner will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality, evidence-based care to neonates and their families.Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, the NICU NP will assess, diagnose, and manage the complex health needs of newborns in a Level III NICU. Our client prides itself on fostering a supportive and collaborative environment where every team member is valued and encouraged to thriveResponsibilities 
  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments of neonates, including physical examinations and medical histories.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based care plans tailored to the individual needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with attending physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and optimize patient care.
  • Perform procedures such as intubations, central line placements, and lumbar punctures as needed.
  • Educate parents and caregivers on neonatal care techniques, medication administration, and developmental milestones.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of care and promote positive outcomes for neonates.
Requirement
  • Master's degree in Nursing with a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner specialization.
  • Current certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP-BC) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB).
  • Valid Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) and Registered Nurse RN license in the state of Hawaii.
  • Experience working in a Level III NICU setting.
