Aerospace manufacturer is seeking experience CNC machinists for 3-, 4-, and 5- axis.

Job Duties:

• Machining small and large parts to specifications using machine tools such lathes, milling machines, shapers or grinders and vacuum fixtures.
• Use precision instruments such as micrometers.
• Setup, adjust and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools in order to perform precision machining operations.
• Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials onto machines.
• Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machine process.
• Observe and listen to operating machines or equipment in order to diagnose machine malfunctions and to determine need for adjustments or repairs.
• Knowledge of how to position and fasten work pieces.
• Operate equipment to verify operational efficiency and submit recommendations for improvement.
• Set controls to regulate machining or enter commands to retrieve, input or edit computerized machine control media.
• Establish work procedures for fabricating new structural products using a variety of metalworking machines.

Requirements

• 3 years’ experience operating 3-, 4-, and 5- axis CNC Machines; gantry style machines a plus.
• 2 years of experience in aerospace environment
• Experience editing programs.
• Experience boring high precision holes.
• Ability to read, understand and follow step by step procedures.
• Experience using/reading mechanical measuring tools.
• Familiar with 5S manufacturing procedures
• Proven excellent attendance record.

Hours:
First, Second, and Weekend shifts. Must be able train on first shift. Hours vary by location.
