Volunteer Activity Specialist – DAY SERVICES (Hawthorne)

The Arc Westchester, a leading non-profit Social Services provider in Westchester County, is looking for you to establish connections withing the community and create volunteer and educational activities in the community for people with developmental disabilities. You will join a team of dedicated professionals as you independently travel throughout Westchester County using your people skills and creativity to develop and plan volunteer and educational activities for people we support.

Community Outreach and organizational and computer skills will benefit you in this position as you work with Direct Support Staff to learn people’s interests, cultivate community resources, follow through, track your efforts and then work with staff to get things up and running.

Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid Driver’s License (2 years active driving record and No more than 4 points) and a reliable vehicle.
- Fully Vaccinated from COVID-19
- Ability to work the Day Shift Monday-Friday
