Our full-time Employment Training Specialist position is a rewarding job. An ETS will provide job placement and on-the-job training to our wonderful and highly valued clients.

Our clients are individuals with disabilities in the York and Hanover areas, including parts of Adams County. The Arc provides various support services and advocates as a company for inclusion and empowerment for all of the people we serve.

Come join our amazing team! The position starts at $17.00 / hour. $1000 signing bonus Experience working with people with intellectual / developmental disabilities is required.

Must have reliable transportation and pass background checks. Must be able to work a flexible schedule with availability on evenings and weekends as needed.

High school diploma or GED required. Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Bring your enthusiasm and can-do attitude! We'd love to meet you! Tasks may include but are not limited to : Connecting with employers to explain our programs and explore opportunities.

Meeting with individuals, families, and state / county agencies. Attending interviews, training with individuals, and checking into the workplace once support has faded.

Completing reporting, billing, service documentation, and communicating each individual’s status to the team.
