The Arc of the Ozarks is Hiring a Residential Program Supervisor Near Springfield, MO

 

We are looking for an experienced, dedicated person to join our management team in Springfield, MO as a Program Supervisor. The Program Supervisor position is exciting because no day is the same! In this role, you would lead a team of staff in supporting individuals with disabilities in directing their own lives as valued members of the community. 

That's great but what will I be doing?

  • Empower staff to improve the self-help skills of individuals served
  • Develop and monitor personal plans
  • Hire, separate, and coach staff as well as prepare work schedules
  • Create and maintain reports and records of individuals served
  • Participates in an on-call rotation
    This list isn’t exhaustive by any means, but you are a one-stop shop for leading staff in supporting our individuals served. You will be supported by a Director, Assistant Director, HR Recruiter, and many more, so you won’t be alone, but you do need to possess good judgment, and the ability to problem solve.

To qualify for this position, you need to have the following:
• Graduated from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree with major specialization (24 semester hours) in elementary or secondary education, special education, early childhood education, psychology, social work, sociology, counseling, recreation (including specialty areas such as art, dance, music, or physical education), speech-language pathology or audiology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, nursing, or other specialties in the field of human services. *According to state and federal regulations five years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
• One year of experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum disorders, psychiatric disorders, and/or developmental disabilities.
• A valid driver's license and insured vehicle you can use for work.
