About the Organization :
The Arc Prince George’s County serves more than 600 individuals with disabilities through a variety of programs, services and supports.
Our primary areas of support are community living, family and personal supports, employment services, and day programs - all with an emphasis on person-centered community involvement and inclusion.
Position Overview :
The Arc is seeking a Service Coordinator to receives referrals; contacts family; provides information regarding program to parents and / or guardians.
Assesses the child’s needs and family needs. Arranges for developmental assessments as needed. Coordinates between school personnel, family and other relevant agencies and individuals to develop the child’s IFSP.
Assists in the implementation of the IFSP. Provides resources and linkage services to meet the goals stated in the IFSP.
Monitors meeting the goals in the IFSP. Advocates for the child and family. Educates parents and / or guardians as to their legal rights under the Infants and Toddlers Program.
