Description:

The Arc of Ocean County is currently hiring for a Job Coach to assist and orient participants in their competitive employment positions on job duties, work schedule, and employer expectations. The successful candidate will be required to provide assistance in addressing job modifications and/or job restructuring and to develop natural supports. Candidates must be flexible with hours to meet the demands of participant’s working schedule and support needs.

Schedule: Full Time, Flexible to support program needs

Pay: From $18.00 per hour, Shift Differentials, Bi-Weekly Pay Schedule, Overtime Availability

Candidates must have the ability communicate effectively and build relationships with funding sources, supervisor, co-workers, participants, home representatives, potential employers and community partners. The job coach will also be responsible for providing training and employment opportunities to increase self-sufficiency and self-esteem for participants.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have a Valid NJ Driver’s License with no more than five points
• All employees are required to be fully vaccinated and up to date with vaccine status

Education: AA in vocational rehabilitation or related field, or at least three (3) year's related experience.

We are seeking individuals that have experience working in the field of developmental disabilities and is familiar with the background of job coaching and instruction.
