The Vice President will have responsibility to align IT systems, objectives and talent in order to meet the Arc of Monroe County’s objectives and strategies. This includes collaboration with senior leadership and external constituents to innovate and establish IT solutions that provide easy, reliable, and secure technology while facilitating change and impact on improving outcomes and business performance. The Vice President will serve as a driver of change and a thought leader in providing innovative approaches to improve organizational goals around quality, safety, engagement, and financial stewardship through the use of technology, analytics, and information systems. The Vice President will have responsibility for the management and daily operations of the Information Technology Department and related technology systems and will serve as the agency’s Information Security Officer and ensure compliance. This is a hands-on role.

Minimum Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant field or Business discipline required with a minimum of 15 years of progressive IT experience with at least 5 years’ of experience leading an IT organization in a senior role (Director level or above) and at least 2 years of experience implementing and managing HIPPA compliance with an IT department.
• Master's Degree preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills required.
• Significant experience in technology and information systems planning to support business goals is desirable.
