Description

Join our team and make a difference in the lives of those we support. We offer a structured and steady schedule (Monday-Friday 8a-4p). A mixture of remote hours and in-person hours can be discussed.

SUMMARY:Responsible for providing Psychiatric evaluation, monitoring and psychopharmacology services to individuals within the clinic setting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Consults with each person receiving services and/or collaterals regarding treatment outcomes and course of treatment, at least semiannually either in person or via telehealth. Must be available for on-site services at least one day per week at Oneida location.

Electronically documents in each persons confidential electronic clinical record, all diagnostic assessment reports, individual plans of treatment and treatment notes regarding service being recommended and/or delivered. Participate in necessary follow up related to billing for services.

Review, update and complete treatment plans every six months electronically.

Works in conjunction with the Clinic Psychiatrist and will provide coverage for the Clinic Psychiatrist when necessary.

Requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in New York State; Psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner certification from the ANCC. One years post degree experience in a human service setting; must be accepted by Medicaid and Medicare for billing; current DEA license, current CAQH account prior to beginning work.
