The Arc Central Chesapeake Region supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) to live, work, and connect with their communities.

Technology is a key pillar of The Arc’s day-to-day operations. We rely on the systems and programs in place to track, support, and store important information across the organization.

As the Manager of Information Technology (IT) Support, you will be responsible for managing and facilitating the IT Support Team and Network Administration Team. In partnership with the Director of IT, the Manager of IT will support day-to-day IT operations, ensuring that the department provides efficient and effective technical support services related to vendor relationship management, device lifecycle replacements, and IT procedures. The Manager of IT Support will project manage all IT-related special projects and new initiatives across The Arc and its related companies, bringing their in-depth knowledge of industry best practices and outstanding customer service mindset into everything they do.

The ideal candidate will be able to work collaboratively across all divisions and departments at The Arc as well as with a variety of external software vendors. This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, though a bachelor’s degree in information technology is strongly preferred. The position also requires five years of experience working in IT with at least three years in an administrator or manager role with direct reports, as well as an IT Certification in a related area. The candidate must be well-versed in Office 365, Teams, and OneDrive/SharePoint. Experience with ZenDesk is a plus.
