JOB TITLE: Commercial Laundry Manager

DEPARTMENT: Frost Industries

REPORTS TO: Federal/State Contract Manager

Manages the daily operations of the laundry services department. Supervises laundry staff, prepares invoices and any reports related to the laundry.

· Employee would be responsible for oversight/supervision of any employee/participant assisting with contract work.

· Graduation from a standard senior high school or equivalent.

· Ability to maintain records; to prepare concise reports; and to plan, assign, and/or supervise the work of others.

· Minimum of 5 years of management experience

High School Diploma or equivalent required

· Communicates regularly with the Contract Manager about service issues

· Demonstrates flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload

· Meets department productivity standards

· Prepares daily invoices and any other reports for laundry operations.

· Requisitions supplies and materials.

· Maintains records on production, time worked, and supplies/materials used.

· Plans, assigns, and/or oversees the work of others.

· Plan, prepare, and oversee laundry service training programs.

· Monitors contract activity to ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, safety, and health and quality standards.

· Monitors contract activity to ensure effective management, profitability and to compile data for audit by state, federal and SourceAmerica officials.

· Coordinates with Contract Manager regarding any potential laundry leads.

· Determines bid prices for jobs and presents them to the Contract Manager, then to the customer on a proposal form.

· Monitors production efforts to ensure customer satisfaction for quantity, quality, and timeliness.

· Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs

• Be able to perform any task/function that is normally assigned to client/employees.
